Sharing Experiences of Faith & Connection

I had a lovely time presenting at the 2024 RDI Annual Conference on a topic that I feel so passionate about, Sharing Experiences of Faith & Connection: Empowering Lifelong Personal & Spiritual Growth through an RDI Approach.

Sharing experiences is central to how we share our values and our faith—what is most important to us, and what is uniquely ours. In the experiences we share with our families and with others, our values are communicated through the actions we model, the ways we communicate, our thoughtful limit setting, the dynamic choices we make, and what we share about our own feelings and decision making.

Through experiences with others, we can share our minds, our hearts, our joys and passions. Instead of focusing on achieving perfect behavior, we can step into a dynamic, relational process of growth, through ongoing experiences with trusted guides, that impacts every area of life.

Whether we are sharing our faith at home, or in our communities of faith, we can craft experiences with simple roles that allow each of us, of every age and ability, to find our place in our community, and then find our path forward, together.
